To the man who started it all, our founder, who was larger than life, the king of many things but mostly the king of our family, The Merlino Family.
Words cannot express our sorrow and how much he will be greatly missed. He was larger than life and every where he went he left his mark. If they couldn’t find him, they could definitely hear him.
He is one of the greats, the king of everything he touched, the most respected man we know. He loved everyone and everyone loved him in return. A humble man who welcomed everyone and anyone into his home always with a smile and a glass of wine. Our regular customers in Wareemba would be a true testament to this. You would come in to purchase a tree and you would end up leaving with a bottle of his home made wine. He was a man of few words but wise words and taught our family so much and we will forever bring forward his legacy, to be united as a family, love each other deeply and continue his Christmas tree business he started over fifty years ago.
We know you are up there with a glass of wine, singing your favourite song and telling us “these are the best tree’s I’ve ever seen”…
